Mañana del ciclismo
Desde abajo de las escaleras Manuela gritó a su hijo que se apurara para subir al carro. Estaban por salir en la mañana y ella estaba terminando unas tareas pendientes antes de ir al trabajo. Además, tenía que llevar a su hijo a la escuela en el camino hacia la oficina. Sin embargo, estaba muy consciente de la hora y quería irse de la casa antes de que el trafico llegara al periodo del pico. Can Someone Invent This Machine?
Our everyday live has became more convenient and easier compare to 100 years ago because technology was rapid progress.
Now , what I really want is an automatic cooking machine. It is not like only heat dishes or bake breads looks like a microwave oven or a gas oven. I am saying a machine, which can cuts vegetables, fish, meat and add an appropriate seasoning for completing a perfect dish. We only need to insert all ingredients, which a dish require and turn on the machine.
If such a terrific ideal machine is invented, tons of housewives in the world will be mad with joy. Because cooking is one of a biggest house chore after most women get married. While the machine cooking automatically, housewives can enjoy their own free time and just wait for finishing cooking.
On the other hand, a sad thing is that restaurants that don't serve delicious meals to customers would need to be close down their business. It is no demand anymore.
I hope that such a great cooking machine show up in our society before I will be married.

Un aperçu de Miraculous Ladybug, un show français:
Bonjour à tous!
Auijourd'hui, je voudrais parler au sujet d'un show français cool s'appelle Miraculous, 'les contes de Coccinelle et Chat Noir', situe en Paris. Spécifiquement, je veux focuser sur d'un des personnages principals, Adrien Agreste. Il est l'onirique modèle garçon du Paris, et le béguin de notre protaginste female, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Il travail sous son père, Gabriel, une riche et bien connu homme, la tête de mode en Paris. Adrien est un rayon de soleil quoi, par contré au froid et réservé l'air de son père. Malheursement, Gabriel avait donné Adrien un education protegé pour la majorité de sa vie, gardant son garçon dans la maison après la disparition mysterioux de sa marie. Adrien juste veut l'abilité pour faire de propre choisirs et avoir la vie normale comme tous les autres adolescents. Pendant le jour, Adrien va à l'école avec ses amies et sa camarade, Marinette dupain-Cheng, l'autre protangionste du show. Sans leur connaissance, les deux sont superheros en secret qui savent Paris du villan: HawkMoth; un homme qui souhaite piquer leur Miraculous, des bijoux magique que s'exaucent les pouvoirs de la destruction et la création. Hawkmoth a les pouvoirs à creer des papillions corrompux, quel sert comme le catayseur pour chaque épsiode villan. Adrien est Chat Noir, qui est un dragueur au cœur quand il'agit de sa partinare Ladybug, toujours fait jeux de mots amusant. Cependent, le coup de théâtre viens de l'idée que Marinette aime Adrien, mais il lui aime seulement comme Ladybug, son superhero personnage. Ce qui se passe, est les deux sont tombés amoureurses irrenediablment avec l'autre, complètement sans le savoir que la même personne assoie à côté de leur dans la classe. La intrique, à la premiere coup d'oeil, est très simple mais deviendrai plus complicaté comme le temps progresse.
Maintenant que tu as tout les détails... Devrait-on le regarder?
Absoluement! La première saison est juste une pièce de la plus grande tarte. Les autres saisons sont rempli de la drama, le suspense, l'amour, l'action et plein de secrets pour se défaire! Le fanfiction et l'art de fans sont aussi très bon! Je te le recommande le show si tu veux quelque chose mignon à regarder.

Impegnata
Finalmente ho il tempo di scrivere un articolo! Queste ultime settimane sono state molto impegnative. Abbiamo spostato nostro figlio del college nel suo appartamento, abbiamo fatto un viaggio per vedere tutti e quattro i nonni, abbiamo avuto diversi appuntamenti dal dottore e dal dentista, e abbiamo visto molti amici e parenti. È molto per me perché sono una introversa.

בחצר שלנו יש עץ גבוה ורזה שרוכן מעל הבריכה. לא מזמן העץ האלה היה זקוף, אבל עכשיו הוא רוכן בגלל כל הגשמים הכבדים האחרונים ואנכנו צריכים להסיר אותו.
אבל אין מספיק מקום שנוכל להפיל את כל העץ. ואי אפשר לטפס אותו בבטיחות. ומכיוון שהעץ מתכופף מעל הבריכה, אם הוא ייחתך מלמעלה, החלקים ייפלו לאזור הבריכה ויגרמו נזק. ואז צריך לחתוך אותו לחתיכות קטנות מתחתית העץ!
כדי לעשות את זה, ראשון תשתמשו בחבלים ותקשרו את העץ המתכופף לעוד שתי עצים שהם גדולים וחזקים יותר.

If you had all the money in the world ... (summary)
I’m a teacher, and I have always thought that getting rid of textbooks would be good for humanity :-). I’m thinking about the ‘traditional’ textbook, naturally. I would like to create a publishing company to change the traditional textbook.
For many years I have seen hundreds of textbooks lying forgotten in corners by students who hardly use them.
The problem is always the same. The publishing company asks one or two teachers to write a textbook for an entire subject. But usually you have good material for one or two subjects, the rest is usually quite bad. The result is that each teacher uses a small part of the book and forgets about the rest.
In many cases they illegally photocopy :-) parts of other books to complete his class material.
The case is particularly serious in regions like mine, where the government pays for all the books. So more and more books with little use are accumulating in schools and we all end up paying for them with our taxes.
What can we do to change that?
The ideal situation would be that the teacher could choose one chapter (or less) from a textbook, another chapter from another book, etc. Obviously, the only way to do this is to use digital books.
But how to organise all this in a legal, easy, and efficient way so that the teacher can choose different parts of different books and build their own digital book?
My idea is to offer teachers an application where they could do two things: on the one hand choose different educational items to build their own textbook.
On the other hand, they could write their own educational items to offer to the educational community.
As an incentive, teachers would receive some remuneration for each published item.
The main problem is how to organise all the educational items so that someone could find what they need. To achieve this, we would use the learning standards published in the current regulations in most countries.
First of all, we need a group of programmers and teachers working hand in hand. The programmers must create a platform where every teacher could upload resources. Nowadays there are many platforms for education (classroom, Moodle, etc), but they are platforms designed to work with teachers and students. Obviously there are many ways to upload something to the cloud, but the challenge is having all these resources organized according to the learning standards. So, a teacher could find resources for published standards with precision. The idea is that teachers could download several specific resources and build their own textbook. (To be continued).

Ocupada
¡Finalmente tengo tiempo para escribir una entrada! Ha estado muy ocupado estas últimas semanas. Mudamos a nuestro hijo universitario a su apartamento, hicimos un viaje para ver a los cuatro abuelos, tuvimos varias citas con el doctor y el dentista, y hemos visto a muchos amigos y familiares. Diary
Mind explosion today. It took me all day to write an 800-word news commentary about a boy who decided to make chips, to come at it from a positive perspective. I rarely read articles that focus on complimenting people. Chinese articles like to use a lot of pompous and meaningless words and sentences to praise people. I don't like to read such articles. Writing that article really drove me crazy. While writing, I felt like I was completely out of control of my time. Today, I only wrote one 800-word essay and read a lot of essays without a specific topic. But now it's bedtime, and I'm so upset that the day is over.
There is still one lucky thing that happened today. I didn't do my coursework for my cataloging course, which was about identifying the Chinese characters on seals, because I didn't know those ancient Chinese characters at all. The teacher asked my classmates to remind me to turn in the assignment, and I didn't do it (because I don't know how to do it ಥ‿ಥ). But I am glad that the teacher let me pass the course anyway.

A Night with Typhoon
One of the typoons is 20 km away from the coast now. Its moving speed is 10 km/h, it means that it will hit the city in 2 hours. The small where I live is near the circle of the whole gale, maybe half an hour later, it will in the circle.

코로나 검진을 받고 백신도 받고
내가 수영을 많이 좋아해서 이번 여름 방학 일을 안 하는 동안 집 주변에 있는 실내 수영장에 신청했다. 그리고 일 줄일에 2~3번씩 갔다. 그런데, 일요일 저녁 때쯤 코로나 확진자가 내가 다니는 체육센터를 방분했다고 하는 문자메시지가 왔다. 한 시간 뒤에 코로나 검진을 받아라는 메시지도 왔다. 그래서 어제 아침 일찍 집을 나서서 가까운 검진소에 갔다. 검진소가 9시부터 운영을 하는데 사람이 조금만이라도 줄을 서고 있게지 싶어서 집에서 빨리 나갔다. 내가 도착한 8:25에도 한 30명이 이미 줄 서고 있었다. 그리고 사람들이 계속 오고 있었다. 많이 더운 아침이 아니었는데 습해서 줄이 움직이기 시작할 무렵 나의 옷은 이미 땀으로 흠뻑 젖어있었다. 검진 받는 건 별로 불편하지 않았다. 집에 가는 길에 검진을 기다리는 사람의 줄을 봤는데 대략 150~200명이 기다리고 있었던 것 같다.
검진 결과를 받을 때까지 자가격리를 하라는 지시를 받아서 집에 바로 가서 다시 나가지 않았다. 그리고 조금 이상했다. 내가 원래 집에서 시간을 잘 보내는 편이다. 48시간 연속 집에서 틀어박혀 본 적도 있는데 그거는 하고 싶어서 하는 거였다. 억지로 집에 있는 거는 느낌이 많이 다르다. 아이스크림이나 또 다른 시원한 것을 너무 사고 싶었는데 자가격리를 잘 지켰다.
오늘 아침 8:40분쯤 내가 기대하고 있었던 음성 결과를 받았다. 그리고 몇 시간 뒤에 코로나 백신 예약 확인 문자 메시지를 받았다. 나는 어릴 때부터 바늘을 싫어했는데 다음 주 수요일이 많이 기대 된다. 코로나 바이러스라는 저주가 이 세상에서 빨리 없어졌으면 좋겠다.

Pet Dogs

Les hobbys du confinement
J’habite en Australie et en ce moment ma ville fait l'objet de mesures de confinement. Je suis barman donc je n’ai pas travaillé pendant quatre semaines, aussi c’est les vacances de l’université maintenant, donc j'en ai rien à faire.
Un chose que j’avais fait dans la passé est le travail au crochet. Avant, j’avais fait du crochet seulment de temps en temps, j’avais fait seulment deux petites couvertures, jamais un grand projet. Pourtant, parce que j’ai beaucoup de temps libre maintenant, j’ai décidé de faire un pull-over. J’ai fait soixante cinq carrés qui ont le motif du tournesol, et puis je les ai attaché. Le pull-over est très confortable et doux parce que j’ai utilisé la laine de merino.
Je veux faire plus de projets de crochet mais je n’ai pas beaucoup de la laine, et les défenses du confinement étaient fait plus strictes: il y a deux jours seulement les supermarchés et les pharmacies sont permis à être ouverts. J’préferais regarder la laine avant d’acheter mais je dois d’avoir de la confiance en faire les courses en linges maintenant.

Active learning
First and foremost, It’s important to distinguish between active and passive learning techniques. The meaning of passive learning is every form of studying that is only input but doesn't have to be an active part of the process. For example, if you listen to something and there is no any interaction or even any attached task afterward. This is when you just read something but don’t make the process activate: you don’t ask questions in the meantime, you don’t reflect on what you read, you don’t summarize, and so on.
Passive learning is studying, too; only its effectiveness and function are different. If you aim to gain a general idea, knowledge about something. Or if you hear the target language/ information, you can recognize it, but you don’t have to actively use it orally/written. I.e., you only want to gain knowledge at the level of recognition, then that is perfectly fine too.
However, if you not only want to know something superficially but also want to use it in practice, you have to make learning active. The essence of active learning is that you are involved in the learning process too. Not only do you get external stimuli (input), but you also start using them orally, in writing, in practice (there is also output). In other words, you not only take it in, but you do it. This is the most significant difference between passive and active knowledge.

Zwei Szenen von Little Women
Ich bin kein großer Fan dieser Art von Geschichten, aber ich habe neulich Little Women gesehen und war von mir selbst überrascht. Und das alles wegen dieser einen Szene, in der Laurie Jo einen Heiratsantrag macht. Ich finde es interessant, das neue Schauspiel mit dem alten zu vergleichen. Beginnen wir mit der 1994er Version:

Es ist komisch. Ich mag sowohl Christian Bale als auch Winona Ryder, aber diese Szene funktioniert für mich nicht. Irgendwie ist es viel zu dramatisch, Bale wirkt zu ernst und Winona zu kindisch. Ich denke, so gut wie Schauspieler die beiden sind, hatten sie keine Chemie auf der Leinwand. Die Art und Weise, wie die Szene vom Regisseur eingerahmt wird, ist auch seltsam, es gibt keine Schwere. Dies auf der anderen Seite hat einen tiefen Eindruck auf mich gemacht. Ich hasse es, es zuzugeben, aber ich war am Boden zerstört, als ich diese Szene zum ersten Mal gesehen habe. Als ob etwas richtig wäre und passieren sollte, aber irgendwie nicht passiert ist. Die Rahmung ist perfekt, die Art und Weise, wie beide übereinander sprechen, trägt zur Schwere der Szene bei, sie wirkt zu real. Ich denke, es ahmt in gewisser Weise die Beziehung nach, die beide im wirklichen Leben haben. Es ist eine traurige Szene, ich war wirklich traurig. Am Ende scheint Laurie jedoch recht gehabt zu haben. Jo auch. Beide waren richtig.

World Englishesについて
映画『マダム・イン・ニューヨーク』の主人公シャシはインド人で、英語を母語とせず英語がうまくなかった。シャシがアメリカに行ったときに参加した英会話教室にいるフランスなど様々な国の人たちもシャシと同じく、英語を第二言語として操る。流暢に英語を言えないが、これもある定義上英語の一種で、World Englishesと呼ぶ。とはいうものの流暢に言えないWorld Englishesを認めない人がおり、その人たちにバカにされていたりすることがある。
World Englishesという概念は世界範囲で人々のコミュニケーションツールとして、英語を母語、第二言語、外国語とする人たちが話す英語を統一したものである。第二言語ならびに外国語としての英語は母語の影響を受けるため、英語を母語とする人の英語と違うところが生じる。このようなところを認め、言語の文化的多様性を受け入れるという意味でWorld Englishesという概念が出てくると思う。また、言語にクレオール化という現象があり、複数言語を母語とする子どもは自然と言語を規則的に組み合わせ、若干違うが母語レベルの英語を生み出すことがあるため、英語の言語自体も変わっていると言える。これを踏まえるとWorld Englishesの考え方はどんどん主流になってくると思われる。
映画主人公シャシの母語はヒンディー語であり、話す英語はHindi Englishである。これもWorld Englishesの一種である。その特徴は主に3つの側面に分類できる。まず、Hindi Englishには特別な言葉の使い方がある。例えばGood nameはHindi Englishでは名前の丁寧な表現である。次に、発音も違うところがある。Hindi EnglishではRの音を強く発音する癖があり、例えばParkだと若干違う発音になる。さらに、文法を使うとき特別な癖もある。Hindi Englishでは、通常は一般形で話す文章も進行形で話されることがある。以上のようにWorld Englishesは普通の英語と若干違うところがあるが、英語がわかる人と通じ合うことは可能だということがわかる。
英語の運用能力が人生を左右することもある。インドは強い階級社会にあり、カースト制度というものがある。社会の人々は5つの階級に分けられ、下の階級にある人は差別され、苦しい生活を強いられていた。現在は最下位の階級以外、階級制度が廃止されたものの、階級の文化はまだ根強く存在している。この階級の縛りから逃れるため、インド人は自力で良い仕事に就くことに一生懸命である。インドでは多言語の人材が少ないため、チャンスを掴もうと英語などを勉強する人が多い。英語を勉強して英語を使う仕事に就くことで、階級が下のインド人でも良い生活ができ、まさに英語の運用能力が人生を左右すると言えよう。
