9.10 Mid-Autumn festival
Today is Chinese Mid-Autumn festival, and you can also call it moon festival. It is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of Chinese lunisolar calender (1th day and 30th day the moon is dark and 15th day the moon is usually full). People believe on this day, the moon is at its brightness and fullest side, and the day is often fine, (autumn day, not too hot or too cold), so people will get reunion with family and admire the moon together.
When Chinese people talks about the festival , they will say the theme of it is reunion. But the festival's charisma goes beyond that. In Chinese, reunion is "团圆“ ，团 is unity and 圆 is round. Round implicates pefect and flawless things.
When the great ancient poemer Su Shi was in seperetion with his family in the festival and had a hard time in exile, he writed about the moon:
She rounds the vermilion tower,
Stoops to silk-pad doors,
Shines on those who sleepless lie.
Why does she, bearing us no grudge,
Shine upon our parting, reunion deny?
The moon is bright or dim
And so men have sorrow and joy
The moon does wax, the moon does wane,
And so men part or meet again.
There has been nothing perfect since the olden days.
So may you live a long life,
life goes on,
though miles apart, we’ll share the beauty she displays.

The changing shapes of the moon represents the ebb and flow of life in Chinese literature. Fullness,brightensss,perfectness and its reverse counterpart exists on the world at same time, and the moon festival remind you of that. The wish for reunion in the moon festivals is quite different to the one in the spring festival. Spring festivals means a brand new day, means a bustling and jolly time with family, while the moon festival is still and serene.
There is kind of melancholy. But wishes for "团圆" is wishing everything is good, and everyone is well. It doesn't limit, for everyone in everywhere can share the beauty of moon. So it also has a power to against seperation and dispell the melancholy and unsatisfaction.

水中毒
お水を飲み過ぎることは可能のが知っていますか？
子供の頃、私はそういうことを教えられました。「水中毒」と言います。誰かそういうことをしたきり死にました。あの人は短い時間の中8リットルを飲みました。でも、その場合は甚だしかったですね。
「温和」な水中毒に罹るのほうが安いです。最近、私はとても暑い日に長い時間で外に水を飲みずにかかりました。帰ったときに、渇いて、熱中症のわけで心配しました。そのせいで、すぐに早く1リットルを飲みました。他のリットルをぐしました。気が付くと、もうあのリットルも飲んでしまった。更に夫の水も半リットルぐらい飲みました。帰ったから1時間が経ちませんでした。
ややあって、のぼせるになりました。それから、ふらふらになって、顔がジンジン、話せなかった。夫は私と話してみて、全然わからなかった。彼は私に食べ物を差しあげた。お腹がすいたけど食べ辛かった。呼吸の リズム を持ちがたくなりました。ベッドに行った。世界がスピンした。突然吐く必要があった。あの夜10時間に寝っても、次の日は二日酔いみたい具合がありました。

Preferisci lavorare la mattina o la sera?
Sono una creatura della notte. No, non sono un vampiro che beveva il sangue dei sui poveri ospiti, e neanche sono un festaiolo che va spesso ad assorbire diversi prodotti illiciti in una discoteca alla moda. Voglio dire que la sera e la notte sono i momenti del giorno in cui lavoro miglio. Ritengo che siano propizi alla meditazione, alla riflessione, probabilmente perché di notte, tutto è generalmente più tranquillo. Inoltre, l'oscurità appena illuminata dai raggi di luna dà alla notte un aspetto più contemplativo.
Quando ho obbligazioni, mi sveglio ad orari normali, ma sfortunamente, la mia tendenza naturale è di andare a letto tardissimo e di svegliarmi tardissimo altresi. È un problema, perché la qualità di sonno che si può avvere a partire dalle tre della matina non è la migliore, perciò, in questo caso devo dormire moltissimo per essere in forma al risveglio. Perciò, anche nel fine della settimana, mi fisso orari regolari per andare a dormire e svigliarmi.
La mattina mi piace anche, ma come sono la mattina è una cosa aleatoria. Alcune matine, sono di piedi molto presto e pieno di energia, ma oltre, con la stessa quantità di sonno, la machina richiede molto tempo per iniziare, sebbene non abbia bisogno di due litri di caffè per funzionare di modo ottimale. In ogni caso, diventerei dipendente al caffè molto presto, allora cerco di non ne fare un'abitudine! Per tanto, bevevo tè al solito, mi piace molto anche.
Questo testo mi fa pensare che durante il mio prossimo viaggio, devrò gustare tutti i tipi deliziosi di caffè italiano con moderazione!

Souviens-toi de garde un âme calme
Dans certains situations c'est important que tu gardes un âme calme. La plupart du temps paniquer va empirer tous. Dans l'adversité analyser la situation presente et trouve une solution. Controles tes emotions et pas l'inverse. Je sais que c'est plus facile à dire qu'à le faire. Heureusement c'est quelque chose que tu peux apprendre. Juste place toi aux situations que te rend un peu gênant chaque jours et éventuellement ça y est.

仕事の復帰が怖くなる
来週の月曜日に、僕は教師として仕事に戻らなくてはなりません。秋入学のために、新学年が来ています。
実は、復帰が大変なことになっています。ならば、今年には夏があっという間に過ぎました。というのは、瞬いた途端に、夏が経て終わったように感じていますから。まだ疲れているのです。夏休みの後でも、教えれば教えるほどへとへとになっています。教育にとって、相性をだんだん失っているのですか？教育に対する好みを無くなっているのですか？
おまけに、風邪をひいているかもしれません。似た症状が出ているし、背中も痛いんです。新型コロナとか腎臓結石である可能性があるのです。でもね、体調の立場からいうと、悩み過ぎるですよ。簡単に治る可能性もありますね。
さあ、どうせ選択はありませんから、来週の金曜日まで、ずっと支度するつもりです。月曜日から一週間後に授業は始まって、私はもちろん覚悟するつもりです！

Dla tych, którzy czują się samotnie
Organizacja „Gaduławka” miała świetny pomysł. W Krakowie, gdy czujesz się samotnie, możesz siadać na ławkę i czekać na kogoś, kto ma ochotę gadać z tobą. Te ławki (nazwane „gaduławki”) mają na sobie napis po polsku, hebrajsku i angielsku, który wyjaśnia, że możesz tam siadać, by czekać na nieznajomego, który ma ochotę gadać z kimś nowym.
Wydaje mi się to dobry pomysł w czasach, w których jesteśmy coraz bardziej oddzieleni, zwłaszcza dla starych ludzi, którzy niestety są często zaniedbani przez społeczeństwo.

What I liked about living in England
I wanted to write something in English and this is the topic I came up with.
I've lived in England for two years in total. It wasn't two years in a row, I've been one year in London between 2016 and 2017 and then a second time in the Lake District between 2019 and 2020. I can say I experienced both the urban and multicultural side of England and the more rural side.
I think the UK is a great country and I enjoyed my time there. I only have happy memories of the UK.
The first time I was 19. It was my first time leaving my family and by then I had been wanting to achieve my independence for years.
I wasn't planning to go to London. I had just finished secondary school and I wanted to take a gap year, so I could work and save some money to attend university. My father told me he had a colleague who had already worked in London before and wanted to go back there. In the end he couldn't go with me, but I had already bought the plane ticket, so I took a risk and went there on my own. People told me it takes a lot of courage to go abroad for the first time all by yourself at 19, but I was young, the desire for independence was strong and I know that it was a risk worth taking, because it was one in a lifetime kind of opportunity.
The second time I actually wanted to go back. I wanted to gain some experience in the tourism sector and because I had already worked in England and had fond memories of it, I decided to try it again. I ended up working in a hotel on the shores of the lake Windermere, the biggest in England.
Sorry, for the long introduction, this is kind of nostalgic for me and ended up delving too much into it.
These are the things I liked about living in England:
• Multiculturalism
London is obviously a multicultural city, but England is full of different cultures. When I was living in Cumbria we had an Indian wedding! Where I'm from you would never witness such exotic cultures in such a rural place as Cumbria.
• Greggs
This one speaks for itself. What's not to love about Greggs?
• Climate
I know England is reknowned for its constant rain, but I come from a place where a 40-degree and above summer is the norm. If you can put up with the rain (and I didn't mind it) the temperatures are pretty reasonable. Also, it's easier for me to deal with the cold rather than with the heat.
• Nature
Maybe I'm biased because the Lake District is famous for its beautiful mountains and lakes, but I loved it for sure.
• Switches for every socket
That's just so smart, I don't understand why it isn't widespread in the rest of the world.
• Vegan options everywhere
Usually cities are well equipped with everything you need and may look for. What surprised me is that even in the countryside you can easily find whatever you need, even when it comes to such modern trends as veganism.
• People
English people are innovative. They have a really open mind. I guess it's because they are so used to experience new things and intermingle with foreign cultures that it makes them more tolerant. I mean, stupid people exist everywhere, but my general opinion is really positive.

Est-ce que vous vous souvenez d'Internet à ses débuts ?
Parfois je ressens une forte nostalgie pour les années où Internet était à ses débuts. Je suis née au début des années 90, alors je me rappelle les jours où Facebook, Instagram, TikTok et d’autres réseaux sociaux d’aujourd’hui n'existaient pas. À leur place, il y avait des sites comme Neopets, Club Penguin et Habbo Hotel. Ces sites vous offraient une chance d’explorer un monde virtuel. Dans ces mondes, vous créiez un avatar et rencontrez d’autres joueurs, et vous faisiez tout sans révéler votre vraie identité. On pourrait dire que c'était mon premier goût de liberté. Comme adolescent, je ne savais pas grand-chose sur les autres nations du monde, mais j’avais des amies en ligne qui venaient de partout. On n’a pas discuté de quelque chose d'important, mais ces amitiés étaient enrichissantes pour moi quand même. J’ai consacré des heures à jouer dans ces réalités virtuelles, toujours remplies du couleur et d’animation basique mais charmante.
Ces jours-ci, l’idée de créer un « Metaverse » est redevenue populaire. À mon avis, on ne peut pas dépasser les « Metaverses » aux débuts de Intent. Ils ont capturés une période d’innocence qui n’existe plus aujourd’hui. Il me semble que Internet maintenant s’agit de deux choses: l’individualisme et la rentabilité. Sur les réseaux sociaux, des gens font des posts seulement pour montrer leur vie éblouissante. Plutôt que rester anonyme, nous avons besoin de partager tout ce qui concerne notre vie privée. D’ailleurs, Internet a souffert d’une sorte de marchandisation. Il ne reste pratiquement plus de sites gratuits, qui n’a pas envie de nous vendre quelque chose.
Pendant un bref laps de temps, il y a quelque mois, tout le monde jouait à un jeu en ligne appelé « Wordle ». C’est un jeu de devinettes gratuit et très simple, où chaque jour vous devez deviner un mot avec cinq lettres. Cette période m’a rappelé les anciens jours d' Internet. Hélas éventuellement des gens ont passé à autre chose et le site a été acheté par un grand journal américain.

Le français aux oreilles d'un italien
Bien que l'italien et le français soient des langues sœurs, il y a beaucoup de différences. Aujourd'hui je voudrais parler de certaines expressions qui à mes oreilles sonnent assez étranges.
• Le passif en « se faire »
Il y a quelques années j'ai lu un blog d'une italienne qui a vécu en France. Elle racontait que quelqu'un lui avait volé quelque chose (je ne me souviens plus quoi en particulier). Elle est donc allé au commissariat et on lui a dit: « vous vous êtes fait voler vos affaires ? ». Elle racontait qu'elle était vexée par ça, parce qu'en effet une phrase structurée de la même manière en italien implique que si quelqu'un a volé quelque chose, c'est la faute à la personne volée.

• « Bon courage »
Cette expression m'a choqué et la première fois que je l'ai entendu, je ne savais pas comment réagir.
Je suis arrivé à mon boulot pour remplacer mon collègue. Avant de partir, il m'a dit : « Bon courage ». J'ai tout de suite vérifié sur internet comment on utilise cette expression, parce qu'à mes oreilles ça sonne comme quelque chose de sarcastique. Ce que j'ai pensé, c'est que ce jour là il y aurait eu beaucoup de gens et elle aurait été une journée de travail très fatigante. J'ai eu l'impression qu'il voulait dire j'avais besoin de beaucoup de chance pour finir ma journée de travail sans problèmes.
• « désormais »
Ça on le voit beaucoup sur internet quand, par exemple, on reçoit un mail qui annonce le changement de quelque chose.
Je fais un exemple concret. L'année dernière j'ai reçu un mail de la part de l'université qui disait « les dates des examens sont désormais disponibles ». En français cette phrase est très neutre, alors qu'en italien ça n'implique pas qu'un simple changement, mais un changement dont on est triste ou qu'on regrette.
• « Votre demande a bien été prise en compte »
Ça aussi c'est une phrase qu'on voit beaucoup sur les mails, quand par exemple on s'inscrit sur un site internet. Ce que je trouve marrant c'est qu'en italian « prendre en compte » signifie que la personne qui gère le site doit juger si ton inscription peut être acceptée ou non.

Sommerfest

Liebe Anna und lieber Markos,
wie geht es euch? Ich hoffe, dass alles bei euch in Ordnung ist. Ich habe gestern bekommen, dass ein großes Sommerfest in meiner altern Schule stattfindet. Alle Lehrer unf Lehrerin werden dort sein, deshalb würde ich hingehen. Ich möchte euch herzlich zum Fest einladen. Da können wir nicht nur Spaß haben, sondern auch leckeres Essen probieren. Übrigens konntet euch nicht vorstellen, welche Musikband auftreten wird. Ich lasse es eine Überraschung für euch. Wenn ihr immer Lust habt, treffen wir uns Samstag um 18:00 Uhr vor dem Bahnhof, weil er näher von der Schule ist. Ich warte ungeduldig auf eure Antwort.

Preferisce ambienti rurali o urbani?
Indubbiamente, preferisco gli ambienti rurali. Naturalmente, ci sono molti vantaggi in città: buone reti di transporti pubblici, servizi e ovviamente lavoro, perché le città attirano le imprese più della campagna. È tanto più vero se si viva in un paese molto centralizzato. In Francia, se si vuole studiare nelle scuole più prestigiose del paese o lavorare per una impresa multinazionale in un quartiere degli affari, è probabile che infine, si ritroverà a Parigi.
Tuttavia, non potrei vivere en una megalopolis come Parigi, Madrid, Tokyo o New-York. Troppo di gente inscatolata come le acciughe in inferni di cimento, troppo di rumore, troppo di stress. Troppo di criminalità, a volte... Onestamente, penso che ci sia un limite di taglia per le città in cui noi, esseri umani, possiamo vivere, e che al di là di questo limite, gli ambienti urbani hanno causano danni irremediabili alla salute mentale, o solo fisica, perché non si deve dimenticare che l'inquinamento rimane un gran problema in molte città del mondo.
Nonostante gli svantaggi degli ambienti rurali, sono questi che mi piacciono, questi in cui mi sento bene. Racogliere frutti o fare un giro nel bosco, lungo un ruscello, mangiare un fromaggio di capra prodotto vicino dalla propria casa, o solo godere della natura e della sua tranquilità... Tutto questo non ha nessuno prezzo. E l'apparenza inganna: per gli occhi che sanno osservare, ci sono molte cose da vedere in campagna! Ora abbiamo problemi di salute anche in campagna (soprattutto con i pesticidi) ma fortunamente, ci sono ancora molti luoghi preservati.
Vivere in una città di taglia media anch'è una soluzione per avere i vantaggi della campagna senza gli sventaggi.

9 sept 2022 - la fête de la lune
Demain, c’est le 15 août dans le calendrier lunaire, alors ce soir-là, la lune sera à pleine et grand ; et c’est aussi la fête de mi-automne. Après avoir pris un bon repas avec la famille, on fait de promenade et trouve des amis et de voisins, comme tout le monde sort, c’est très facile de tomber dans quelqu’un que vous connaisse. Dans le parque, on fait aussi le « picnic » sous la pleine lune et on goûte de fruits à saison, de gâteau de la lune (un must pour cette fête) et on boit du thé pour faire la digestion. Les enfants jouent aussi avec les lanternes et les chandelles. C’est très bruyant !
Mais c’est une fête poétique, parce qu’on regarde la même lune si on n’est pas dans le même endroit. On peut donc souvent trouver dans des poèmes chinois que les auteurs manquent leurs proches en regardant la lune.

Entorno preferido
Sin duda, prefiero entornos rurales. Naturalmente, en la ciudad, hay muchas ventajas: buenas redes de transporte público, muchas actividades culturales, servicios y por supuesto, empleos, ya que las ciudades atraen las empresas mucho más que la campaña. Es todavía más verdadero si ustedes viven en un país muy centralizado. Por ejemplo, en Francia, si alguien aspira a entrar en las escuelas más prestigiosas del país o trabajar en un barrio financiero para una empresa multinacional, es muy probable que acabará en Paris.
Sin embargo, pienso que yo no podría vivir en una ciudad demasiado larga, como Paris, Madrid, Tokyo o New-York. Demasiado ruido, demasiado estrés, demasiado gente rara. Demasiado criminalidad, a veces... A decir verdad, pienso que hay un limite de tamaño para las ciudades en que nosotros seres humanos podemos vivir. Más alla de este limite, los entornos urbanes causan daños irremediables a la salud mental, o simplemente a la salud física, porque no se debe olvidar que la polución queda un gran problema en muchas ciudades del mundo.
A pesar de todas las desventajas de los entornos rurales, son los que me gustan, los en que me siento bien. Pasear en un bosque, a lo largo de un arroyo y recoger frutos silvestres después, probar un quebro de cabra producido cerca de su casa, o sólo disfrutar la natura y su tranquilidad. Esas cosas no tienen precio. Por desgracia, tenemos algunos problemas de salud en el campo también (especialmente con pesticidas), pero aún se hallan muchos pueblos preservados. En fin, debo decir que aparencias engañan: para los ojos que saben observar, ¡hay mucho que ver en el campo!
Vivir en una ciudad de tamaño medio puede ser una buena solución para tener las ventajas de una ciudad sin las desventajas

die Königin ist tot
Gestern ist die Königin gestorben. In der Nachmittag habe ich Twitter geschaut und herausgefunden, dass die Königin sehr krank war. Ich wusste, dass es seriös war, weil die Moderator in den Nachrichten schwarze Klamotten getragen haben und sieht sehr traurig aus. Die Königin war in Schottland und einige ihrer Familienangehörigen sind nach meine Heimatstadt geflogen, um sie in Aberdeenshire zu besuchen. Meine Wohnung liegt eine Stunde von dem königlichen Schloss entfernt. Ich habe mein Radio eingeschaltet, aber alles schien in Ordnung zu sein. Es gab ein paar Mitteilungen, aber die Radiomoderatoren waren gut gelaunt. Um 4 Uhr bin ich zum Laden gegangen um Lebensmittel und Bier zu kaufen, weil wenn die Königin stirbt, würde die Laden wahrscheinlich schliessen. Ich habe die Nachrichten geschaut und jeder hat schwarz getragen. Es gab viele Videos, die um die Königin geht. Ich bin mir nicht so sicher, ob ich die königliche Familie befürworten oder nicht, nichtsdestotrotz wüsste ich, dass es eine große Sache war. Engländer in der Regel mag das Königshaus, aber in Schottland ist es ein bisschen anders. Jetzt kann ich nicht online gehen, ohne das Gesicht der Königin zu sehen. Viele Menschen sind sehr traurig. Das Lebensende der Königin hat für Schottland große Bedeutung. Es wird interessant zu sehen, wie Haltungen zu schottische Unabhängigkeit ändern werde, weil jetzt macht die Monarchie immer weniger Sinn. Die Königin handelte als einen Klebstoff, den das Königreich zusammenhaltet. Fußballspiele und Konzerte sind abgesagt, um die Königin zu ehren. Nichts wird so sein wie zuvor. Jetzt haben wir einen König, aber ich denke, dass die Monarchie bald enden wird. Ich habe sogar die Handschrift der Königin gesehen, weil meine Urgrossmutter eine Geburtstagskarte von ihr bekommen hat. Jeder die 100 Jahre alt ist, bekommt eine Karte von dem Königshaus. Meine Urgroßmutter wurde in 1902 geboren und war 100 Jahre älter als meine jüngere Schwester. Heute bin ich ziemlich müde, obwohl ich schon zwei Kaffee getrunken habe. Ich möchte ein bisschen lesen und das Internet so viel wie möglich vermeiden. In 10 Tagen werde ich anfangen, an meiner Universität zu studieren. Es wird sicherlich interessant, mal wieder Lektüre zu besuchen und Aufsätze zu schreiben. Später werde ich Nudeln kochen und vielleicht mein Radio hören, obwohl jetzt alle Sendungen über die Königin sind. Es wird auch schön, ein bisschen Gitarre zu spielen, obwohl ich nicht gut singen kann. Solange ich Deutsch lernen kann, fühle ich mich glücklich. Ich wünsche dir einen wunderschönen Tag :)

A True Story
This is a true story. Years ago, I worked in a secondary vocational school. One year, my school recruited a class of formal secondary specialized students, and five female students in the class. For some reason, there were about five informal students studying in the class. Formal students had very good performance in their academic grades, but the informal students didn't, and really sucked.
One year later, in a casual conversation with the head teacher of the class, I learned that a few female students were dating some informal students. I asked the teacher if the female students had ever dated those formal students, and he said no. I got confused because I guessed that the formal female students should date the formal students instead of the informal students, but the fact was totally opposite.
In real life, we can see many of these kinds of situations. We often see from TV shows that a few very good ladies fighting for a jerk who is not handsome, no money, no status, no good manners, but the only thing he is very good at is to cheat women, to win the favor of women.
I once thought, If I were a lady, would I act the same way?
