I often use DeepL Translation when I write English here.
I use DeepL When I can't wirte what I want to write.
I am often pointed out my spelling mistakes.
It seems that DeepL is able to understand that spelling mistake and translate it correctly.
I thought my English was correct, and posted it even my spelling mistakes.
Very useful is also a problem.
I should checked it by myself.
私はここに英語で投稿する際、よくDeepL翻訳を利用します。
英語が拙いので、書きたいことが書けなかったりする時、翻訳してもらいます。
私はよく単語のスペルミスを指摘されます。
どうやらDeepL翻訳はそのスペルミスも理解して正しく翻訳をしてくれるようです。
そして私は私の英語が合っていると思い、間違ったまま投稿してました。
便利すぎるのも問題ですね。
自分の力でしっかり確認するべきでした。

I changed the wording to make the meaning more clear. Also, if you use American English, you should write "misspelled" instead of "misspelt", I think.

Being able to translate on your own is definitely important! Relying on translators can become a crutch. But sometimes, I find wording a complex idea difficult as well, and I see how Google Translate suggests I word it. But I always write it my own way afterwards, because Google Translate is not good at Japanese.

I can't speak Japanese, but I think your the English you wrote translates to something like:
"(私の単語のスペルミスなら)私を指摘されます"
And in this case "by" is doing the work of "なら"
The translation of "私はよく単語のスペルミスを指摘されます" is more along the lines of
"Often, my spelling mistakes are pointed out"

What you say seems a bit contradictory? First you seem to say DeepL converts your spelling mistakes into correct English, but then you seem to say it doesn't process them. So it's a little unclear your conclusion, I think.

Great writing!
I get it! Current LLMs are too powerful, aren't they? They understand what we meant despite the typos.
