我以前是一个蛮过分节俭的人。在大学的时候，我记得我手机的充电器磨损严重，充电线接端口接的不好。为了节省几十块美金买新的充电器，我把一些硬币堆放起 来支持松动连接。不过这个解决方案还是有一个很大的问题： 我每一次想充电还必须把一些硬币堆放。要是这样我还不如买新的充电器! 最后我忍不住这个麻烦的充电行为， 赶紧卖了新的充电器。

I used to be an excessively frugal person. In college, I remember there was a time when my phone charger had worn out, so the cable wasn't able to connect to the charging port to well. In order to save ten dollars to buy a new charger, I stacked a few quarters to fix the loose connection. However there was a big problem with this solution: I still had to stack quarters every time I wanted to charge my phone. If that was the case, I might as well have bought a new charger! In the end, I was unable to bear this troubling charging behavior and swiftly bought a new charger.
