今天我去商店买一些东西。

我一进入那个商店，我闻道就闻到了烟味。

眼烟差点把我呛着了。

一般可能用被动比较多，比如“我差点被烟呛着了”

眼泪在我的眼睛里打转。

虽然我闻到了烟，味，但是在商店的职工好像没有闻到烟味。

一般在中文表述中，我们用“虽然···但是···”表示转折，不会省略“但是”，所以我们初学英语时，有时会习惯性使用“Although···but···”，即使在英语的语法中这种使用方式是错误的。

这不奇怪，因为我们的鼻子很快习惯不同的气味。

或许可以这么说“因为我们的鼻子对气味的敏感程度不同，所以这种现象并不奇怪”

Today I went to the shopping mall to buy some things. As soon as I entered the mall, I smelled smoke. It almost choked me. Tears gathered in my eyes. Although I smelled the smoke, the store employees seemed not to notice it. This isn’t surprising, because our noses quickly get used to different odours.
