为什么我学习中文
我现在学习中文一个星期。为什么呢？
有三个理由。第一个，我10月要去台湾二个星期。我要台东里去冲浪。
第二个，我有中文朋友。
第三个，我喜欢中文动画，漫画。我想看它们中文。
我的中文不太好了。我希望你会懂这个。
I've been studying Chinese for a week now. Why?
There are three reasons. First, I'm going to Taiwan for two weeks in October. I'm going to go surfing in Taitung.
Second, I have Chinese friends.
Third, I love Chinese anime and manga. I want to read them in Chinese.
My Chinese isn't very good. I hope you can understand this.
第一个，我10月要去台湾二两个星期。
When the number "2" appears as a standalone digit, it can be written as "二" (èr) in Chinese. However, if "2" is followed by a measure word (such as "个" (gè), a general measure word) or a noun, "两" (liǎng) is usually used instead in China because it sounds more natural and fluent. Of course, even if you use "二" in such cases, we can still understand its meaning, and it will be quite obvious that you are a beginner in Chinese.
