I rode my motorcycle to Mount Ibuki today. Mount Ibuki is a 1,377-meter-high mountain, and it's about 140 km from my house. You can drive your car or ride your motorcycle to a parking lot near the summit via the Ibukiyama Roadway. The parking lot is 1,260 meters above sea level. If you walk from there for about 30 minutes, you can reach the summit. When I arrived the gate of the Ibukiyama Roadway, unfortunately, it was cloudy. However, it was sunny at high altitudes, so I was able to see a beautiful sea of clouds. Here are some photos: http://namiki.opal.ne.jp/bike/2022/20221103/w800/index-e.html 今日は

It was still warm today, but it will likely get cold next week. Many houses in Japan use kerosene as a heater during the winter. I always buy some kerosene at a gas station, but a gas station's worker sometimes drives around a car to sell it for people who don't have cars. While they drive the car, they play a nursery song called ""Yuki ya konko." I heard the song for the first time this autumn today. Here is the music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdid_SOHVj4

Many Japanese universities hold a school festival in autumn. However, most universities have canceled their school festivals past two years because of Covid-19. This year, many universities will hold their festival for the first time in three years. My youngest son's university holds one at the beginning of November, and my oldest son's university hold one at the end of November. If you want to go to the festival, you must register in advance, so I registered. I hope it will be sunny on the day I will go.

I reserved my fourth dose of the vaccine today. This time, it's a Pfizer vaccine for Omicron. Yesterday around 4pm, I checked the clinics online where I can receive the vaccine. There were many clinics where I could vaccinate. However, after about two hours later, only a few clinics were displayed. I thought most of the reservations had been filled in two hours, but I looked closely, I found that the system was under maintenance. I reserved a clinic nearby, but it's a department of obstetrics and gynecology, so it's a little hard to go there.
